About This Product

The gloves. com CleanSpace Full Face Mask is built for long, demanding work where you need powered respiratory protection plus full face and eye coverage.

This full-face design runs in positive pressure when paired with a compatible CleanSpace PAPR power unit, helping reduce inward leakage and keeping the wide panoramic visor clearer in humid, high-exertion tasks. The hard-coated polycarbonate visor has scratch-resistant and solvent-resistant coating, and the silicone face seal is made to sit comfortably during extended wear.

For better communication on the job, it uses a Mylar speech diaphragm. The oronasal inner mask clips in and out for easier cleaning, and there is a built-in adaptor for TSI PortaCount mask fit testing.

Pair it with the CleanSpace Ultra or CleanSpace EX power unit and choose the right particulate or combined gas filter for your hazard.

How to Use

If you run decontamination work where showering is required, this full face mask is a strong fit. It is commonly chosen for operations that need full face and eye protection during long wear, especially when splashes, dust, or mixed hazards are part of the job.

The mask pairs with CleanSpace Ultra or CleanSpace EX PAPR power units and supports the full range of CleanSpace particulate filters, combined gas filters, and pre-filters. Positive pressure airflow helps reduce fogging, and the wide panoramic visor improves visibility for detail work.

It also works well in heavy industry tasks like mining, welding, manufacturing, smelting, construction, recycling, grinding, and processing plants where face and eye protection are required at the same time.

Set it up with the right CleanSpace filter for your application, and add the spectacle kit or visor tear-offs if your site needs them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is this full face mask designed to work with?

The CleanSpace Full Face Mask is made to attach to CleanSpace Ultra and CleanSpace EX powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) power units. It is built for positive pressure use and is compatible with CleanSpace particulate filters, combined gas filters, and pre-filters. gloves.com positions it for heavy, long-term work where respiratory, eye, and face protection are needed.

What kind of protection does a positive pressure mask provide?

A positive pressure full face mask helps keep contaminants from leaking in by maintaining airflow into the mask during use. The CleanSpace Full Face Mask is a positive pressure design and uses a silicone outer visor seal plus an orinasal inner mask to support respiratory protection. It is also designed so the airflow helps prevent visor fogging during work.

What standards and approvals does this mask meet?

The CleanSpace Full Face Mask is certified to EN 12942:1998+A2:2008 (TM3) and AS/NZS 1716:2012 (PAPR-P3), with specific classification dependent on the filter used. It also meets AS/NZS 1337.1:2010 for high impact resistance and carries an IP66 rating when used with CleanSpace ULTRA (original) and CleanSpace EX. gloves.com lists these ratings to support industrial and safety program requirements.

How does the visor resist scratches and chemicals?

The mask uses a hard coated polycarbonate visor with a scratch-resistant and solvent-resistant coating. This helps it hold up in work environments where the shield gets wiped down often and may be exposed to splashes or overspray. gloves.com includes this full face option for jobs where you want a wide panoramic view without giving up visor durability.

What makes this a good choice for long wear shifts?

The CleanSpace Full Face Mask is designed for heavy, long-term work and extended wear. It uses a silicone cushion that seals to the face for comfort, plus a high strength silicone harness and stainless steel buckle roller to help keep the fit stable. At about 700 g, it is intended to balance protection and all-day usability.

How does this mask help with fogging and visibility?

The CleanSpace Full Face Mask uses positive pressure airflow to help prevent fogging while you work. It also has a wide panoramic visor, so you keep a broad field of view during tasks that require eye and face protection. gloves.com recommends it for applications where visibility and communication matter on the job.

What is the inner orinasal mask, and can it be cleaned?

The orinasal inner mask sits inside the full face mask and helps manage breathing space and sealing. The CleanSpace Full Face Mask includes an orinasal inner mask and uses a clip-in, clip-out design so it can be removed for cleaning. For cleaning, use warm soapy water and a soft, lint free cloth, and avoid solvents, hot water, bleach, or chemical agents.

How do I clean and store this full face mask safely?

Clean the mask with warm soapy water and a soft, lint free cloth, or use an industrial washer, and do not use solvents, hot water, bleaching, or chemical agents. Store it at 10-30C (50-86F) and under 75% relative humidity, away from direct sunlight, grease, and oil. gloves.com recommends following these limits to protect the visor coating and silicone seals.

What temperature and humidity range can it be used in?

The CleanSpace Full Face Mask is rated for use from -10C to +45C (14F to +113F) at less than 90% relative humidity. These limits help the materials and seals perform as intended during work. If your jobsite conditions fall outside that range, you should select respiratory protection rated for those conditions.

What jobs and industries is this mask suited for?

This full face mask is intended for tasks that need respiratory protection plus eye and face protection, including decontamination operations where showering is required. Examples listed include mining, welding, manufacturing, smelting, construction, recycling plants, emergency service, agriculture, processing plants, and grinding. gloves.com carries it as a serious-duty option for long periods of wear in demanding environments.

What are the main limitations of this PAPR mask system?

CleanSpace respirators are air filtering, fan assisted, positive pressure PAPRs designed for environments with sufficient oxygen to breathe safely. The CleanSpace Full Face Mask should not be used in IDLH atmospheres, in oxygen enriched or oxygen deficient areas, or against gases and vapours that cannot be filtered. gloves.com highlights these limits because they are central to safe respirator selection.

Is this full face mask intrinsically safe certified?

No, gloves.com notes that CleanSpace full face masks are not intrinsically safe certified. The system has standards related to explosive dust environments at the power unit level, but this mask itself does not carry intrinsic safety certification. If you work in hazardous locations, confirm that your full PAPR configuration meets your site requirements.

How does this mask support fit testing and compliance programs?

The CleanSpace Full Face Mask has a built-in adaptor for TSI PortaCount mask fit testing. This can make it easier to integrate into respiratory protection programs that require quantitative fit testing documentation. gloves.com includes this detail because many industrial and safety teams need fit test compatibility, not just filtration ratings.

What accessories are available for this full face mask?

Accessories for the CleanSpace Full Face Mask include a spectacle kit and visor protection tear offs, which are sold separately. These add-ons are meant to support users who need corrective lenses inside the mask or extra visor protection in abrasive environments. gloves.com offers the mask as a configurable platform so teams can adapt it to job requirements.
