DESCRIPTION:

A CleanSpace EX Half Mask is designed for use with the CleanSpace EX Power Unit (PAF-2060).

A CleanSpace EX Half Mask is made of soft silicone that readily moulds to the face and does not cause allergic dermatitis. The clips quickly and securely attach the CleanSpace EX Half Mask to the Power Unit.

A CleanSpace EX Half Mask has been treated with an electrically conductive coating and is certified intrinsically safe.

CLEANING, USE & STORAGE CONDITIONS:
• Cleaning: warm soapy water and soft, lint-free cloth or industrial washer
• Do not use solvents, hot water, bleaching or chemical agents
• Use temperature range: -10°C to +45°C (14°F to +113°F) at < 90% relative humidity
• Storage conditions: +10°C to +30°C (+50°F to +86°F) at < 75% relative humidity
• Store away from direct sunlight, grease and oil

APPLICATIONS:
Suitable for environments which require respiratory protection against airborne biohazards, particulates and dust.

Examples: Mining, blasting, grinding, drilling, or crushing. Tunnelling, excavation, rock and mineral handling.

Suitable for use in intrinsically safe certified operations, including:
• In an Underground Coal Mine - a MSHA Petition for Modification must be granted.
• In above ground explosive atmospheres when flammable gasses and vapors represented by Ethylene and Propane can exist under abnormal operating conditions.
• In above ground applications located in Zones 1 & 2 with gases up to Ethylene that require a high level of equipment protection and high level of ignition protection. Not suitable for use in Zone 0.

The CleanSpace EX System (PAF-2060) with the CleanSpace EX Half Mask is suitable for applications where decontamination showers are required.

LIMITATIONS:
CleanSpace respirators are air filtering, fan assisted, positive pressure systems and designed to be worn in environments where there is sufficient oxygen to breathe safely. Do not use CleanSpace respirators in immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) atmospheres, to protect against gases/vapours that cannot be filtered or in oxygen enriched or deficient atmospheres.
